Endodontics is the treatment of diseases of the tooth's pulp.  The pulp is found in the center of the tooth and in canals, often called root canals inside the root of each tooth.

Root Canal Treatments

A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or has become infected.  During a root canal procedure, we remove the nerve and pulp and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed.  Without treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscesses may form.
