Tips on Cleaning Your Smile at the Office

Posted .

If you are one who enjoys cleaning their smile while they are at work, our KC Smile Doc team has some tips for you! We are happy to know that you go above and beyond to care for your smile, and we are excited to see you reach your oral health goals. To help you properly care for your chompers and your oral hygiene tools, we recommend doing the following things:

· Keep a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste in your desk. If you do so, the likelihood of you brushing will increase by 65 percent, according to an AGD/Oral-B study. We also encourage you to keep floss in your drawer so you can clean the hard-to-reach areas of your smile on a regular basis.

· Brush your teeth right after you finish eating lunch. Do your best to make this a priority. This task will not only help you maintain a strong and healthy smile, but it will also help you avoid the embarrassing moments of having food stuck in your teeth and having bad breath.

· Store your toothbrush in a clean travel container after you are done using it and after you have dried off the bristles.

· Remember to replace your work toothbrush more often than your home toothbrush. This is important because your office tends to have more germs and bacteria than your home.
